Slightly less disoriented than I was this morning. Went to church this afternoon (I always say that the real reason I became UU was to not have to get up at 8 AM after drinking on Saturday night). It was totally worth it, because I was greeted by my Favorite Human who had brought delicious prepared foods expressly for me to take home. Iapos;m so impressed with kindness like that. When I visited my dadapos;s side of the family as a teenager, my Aunt Kerry or Uncle Attila would often press $50 into my hand as spending money...even then, I wanted to grow up to be the kind of person who would remember what it was like to be a teenager (or a college student) and surprise the young people in my life with those unexpected, endlessly appreciated gifts.
